Did they scoop from Lake Winnebago? It looks like that load had a greenish tinge to it.

Maybe a little too mature to take this legendary water bomber out of fire service. If it wants to demonstrate try California again. Or contract with the State of Oregon who have positioned two Canadian air tankers in Redmond to replace two DC 7’s working in California. Feds still pondering the 747? Great picture of the DC 10 in Colorado, Hayden Pass Fire.

  I believe those two CV-580s are the ones that are on the State of Alaska contract.
