MAFFS #2 drops on the Black Forest Fire

The video shows one of the Modular Airborne FireFighting Systems (MAFFS) C-130 air tankers from Peterson Air Force Base dropping on the Black Forest Fire near Colorado Springs June 12. The actual drop (spray?) begins at about the two-minute mark.

    1. CBS Denver had their helicopter up most of the afternoon. It looks like it has a front mounted camera with some incredible zoom. We were watching drops most of the day. I’d check their website later today to see if it goes back up.

    2. It was one of the TV stations in the Denver area. It might have been CBS. I have seen the exact same video on two stations at the same time. Apparently they share video from a helicopter.
