This photo supplied by the Los Angeles County Fire Department shows paint jobs nearing completion on two new Sikorsky Firehawk helicopters. The next step is to add modifications which will build them into aerial firefighting machines.

  1. Not a very bright color preference . Needs to have contrasting bright red on any firefighting Aircraft

    1. DG you would be surprised how well those hawks stand out with the White, Yellow, and Black paint job. A few fires I photographed in northern LA County I was able to pick the LA County hawks and 412s up before the LA City 412 and Kern County’s Huey.
