A P3 Air Tanker, Tanker 23, made a demonstration water drop at Northern Colorado Regional Airport in Loveland, Colorado June 28, 2019 while Colorado’s Pilatus PC-12 MultiMission aircraft filmed it from 20,000 feet. The aircraft has a Call When Needed contract with the state of Colorado for fighting wildfires.

    1. Actually 20,000 feet is accurate. The MMA ships fly at high altitudes to be able to accomplish their missions of fire detection, mapping and filming in real time. Amazing ships, equipment and crews.

      1. Yes Rick, you are correct. When I first opened the article there was no video, only the picture as would be seen at about 2000′ Later the video was apparent to me and then the 20000′ was an accurate statement. Robert
